The day started as everyday, as you would open a book as its front page. Calm, normal and almost boring. Of course the book you might open would give you some excitement, but this day to her did even made her smile.

***

She dressed up, top, skirt, shoes, bag. She was daydreaming about a colourful lovely place

as she was painting her face.

Still half asleep she was getting ready to work. Every morning the same thing, but she loved it not getting up but to go to work, it wasn't just money, she loved it because she could see that beautiful, strong, guy with a great smile and sparkly eyes.

One of the days, a girl hosted a farewell party and invited everyone, our girl loved parties and as still new to the company she went to bond and make friends. The sparkly eyed guy went as well to the party. The evening went flawlessly, full of laughs, drinks and looks.

She, was a good.. great drinker, she amused everyone by how she was taking shots and big castles. And she did, not to prove anything but to build confidence to tell the guy that she liked, that she likes him.

-And did you told him?- I looked up and asked.

- Yes.-she said.

" It's all a bit blurry as I got drunk, for a moment and it happened then, we somehow shared a cocktail and I ask if he likes me, he looked at me. Oh he did, and in that one look it was everything. It's all a bit blurry as I got drunk, for a moment and it happened then, we somehow shared a cocktail and I ask if he likes me, he looked at me. Oh he did, and in that one look it was everything. What do you think he asked me, I told him that I think he already answer with that look."She told me that after that moment he held her hand and leading her to the bar to get drinks away from the crowed. At the bar, he ordered a cocktail for share and she took a big sip. He stopped him, it was visible that she is now at least tipsy (rank 7 and 10 is when you are drunk). She moved her head up, away from the glass. She looked at him. He looked at her. Her heart was binding, louder than the drunk guy at the pool table was shouting. He moved closer. He moved her chin a bit up and in that moment she knew. He kissed her. She kissed him. They kissed. Their bodies were tight, his arms were around her. The music wasn't loud enough to be heard, at least not for her.

-What happened after that? You went to his place? Did you meet after that night?

-I went home, I was drunk, happy and I already spend a lot of time in that bar, I said good bye to the host, she was leaving the company for Australia. She was always kind to me. So I said goodbye and I went home. Not to his place, I am a lady not a whore! - She said with a voice that Malena couldn't repeat. She is a real old fashioned gentle-woman.-We met after that, the tree more times. I thought it would last forever. But it was only two months. Two months of nothing. For him. But it's alright now. Now it's alright, for me as well.I needed a year after that two "only flirting, only a fling" months. I feel for him. But he said he has to focus on his last year in college.-she was confidante and nostalgic, her eyes still sparkled with the love she wanted to give to him, wanted with him wanted from him. But there was no space left in sadness, not in her eyes, not in her heart.

I had pain, so much pain. When he left the company after that two months, school was starting. I was very sad, even without having anything, I was still beside him. The day he left.. We finished at the same time that they. He ran after me, my hopes were flying but he only wanted two euro for his bus ticket. I even said "I want to see that two euro" but he didn't get it.

We both got on our buses and exchanged texts, this was the point where he said. He doesn't want a relationship, he wants to focus on his finals. And that was it.

Silent. She didn't say anything about him after that. She lives a life looking for someone who could make her feel slightly as he did.

I hope you guys enjoyed my first, short story I needed to grab all my confidence to start publish not just my poetry but these stories as well. This might not be my best work, but I still like it! Stay tuned for more, and don't forget to check my videos, Bye
