February 2024 Painting,Yoga and more
Hello everyone, welcome back or to my blog, to be honest After the 'Alien' was published, I was really struggling about what to write, but now that I have a new painting/a new topic I teamed up with Arlo to make a diary edition x interview post I hope you all will like it.

Today I thought that I push all my thought and feeling on to the "page" and share it. I hope you will enjoy it and find it motivational, I am certain, motivated and enthusiastic about this month and this year; 2024. Finally! After a melancholy gloomy January February is like a sparkling colourful firework show!
Before I felt like last year was so much better and brighter this time of the year.. which might be true but I finally found good and great in this year's February. So far February been family quality time oriented, well at least the first three days of it, but after that it turned into a listening to the JRE , paint and do yoga type of month! Yes, I am finally and officially back at the painting! I had a little artist block, but on the 7th of Feb '24 I had a breakthrough, from out of the blue came my huge enthusiasm and energy to not just fix but finish a painting now named as 'After Manrakee'. A couple of days ago I had a very weird day but the evening of that day changed everything, I watched crazy rich oceans and almost famous and stud 3,5 hours straight and I was painting and fixing the painting at that time called nature's wings. By the time it hit 2 I was done and realized I don't like the name of this oil, acrylic, pastel and other type of paint painting.
So for a couple it was no named, but when I picture of me standing in the kitchen was shared a name came to me 'after mandrake' that's the story of me naming my new painting. I am very proud of "giving birth" as others say to this painting. I work hard and it turned out as I wanted it to turn out, I think that is success. Beside my enthusiasm and inspiration to paint, I am also very much into yoga again but in a more hardcore way, which is amazing I do it every morning and night. If you follow my videos you already know.
And now, I give the rest of the post to Arlo, who is a dear friend of mine to help me make me feel like a superstar and create a cute little interview with me, (sparkles in my stomach) that will be copy pasted here:
Behind social media pictures, we sat down with JasmineEva to ask her some inside questions, also some that yall asked her on instagram. But first of all we want to share her first comments of hers about her brand new painting.
'After Mandrakee' is a mostly oil, on canvas. The painting is already published on TheThreeEyedTiger™ website also on my instagram profile (@ iamjasmineeva). Also I would like to share a message, besides and not with the painting! Don't think that it's full of symbolism, or its me. I don't wanna hear any bullshit around me that's like 'Oh this is you, oh this is you in your past life! ' No! This is a painting after an oracle card; mandrake and a japanese art documentary. Okay? Oh also, I will be celebrating at Nemdebár (Budapest) this weekend, which I am just so excited for! -JasmineEva
What was your inspiration what started this process?
One of my biggest inspirations for this painting was a movie I saw in the cinema on the 28th of May last year (2023), it was a Japanese art film.. sort of a documentary. I don't remember the name of it.. the irony in this anyway, I remember that I was taking notes while watching the movie in the cinema and then the next day I started sketching on this heavy big canvas. I sketched out an idea that was inspired by Japanese art, how flat and simple they did people know compilaction, and still its so beautiful that you cannot step away from it. The other idea or inspiration was mandrake which is a powerful hallucinogen a poisonous one. And it's also an oracle card for sensuality.
You mentioned that this painting is bigger for you, what do you mean by that?
Being honest I have never done anything that took more than two three days, also I had all kinds of paintings before, I tried abstract, nature all kinds of things since I was like twelve, but I never ever have done something like this painting.
We had a little talk after asking a couple of more questions, which will not be shown because..
I would like to announce something now, so I don't want you putting the Q&A into my blog, okay? So my happiest announcement is that there will be a video documentary thingy called 'After Mandrake' The making ' which will come in March, on the 29th! - JasmineEva
