Winter's Protection: A Jar Spell to Embrace New Beginnings

Hello everyone, welcome back or to my blog, I am JasmineEva, 21 years old artist, without a phone! Hi!

Finally its time, here is the "A new jar spell I did to keep me safe and warm from the cold of winter. To prepare me for a new year new beginning and new chances" post. I hope you all will like it, also there will be a little personal side note to all of this at the bottom of the post.

Let us begin now, you will need a jar, a few spices and an incense stick or cone and a blue candle will also be needed.

List of spices: cloves, cinnamon, rosemary, rose petals and orange or tangerine peel.The last one is optional. You can also put crystals into your jar, but thats optional as well.

Light up a candle of your choice, I chose blue. Cleans your jar inside and outside as well with good, positive and creative intentions, thoughts. Start putting the spies in your already cleansed jar. Cinnamon, spice mix, cloves, rosemary etcetera. It's optional, but while I was preparing my jar I was saying;

If genius burns within me

Let me feels its flame

Its a work of art shall shape me

Help me embrace the fame

This light that burns within

Now shines for all to see

Let the flow begin

As bright ideas burn through me

To keep me warm and safe from the cold of the winter. To prepare me for a new year, new beginnings, new chances. Rose petals for last summer, the past loved ones (these are not for the dead but mainly people who you loved but they are not in your life anymore) and friends who are not in my life anymore and for the future friends and lovers. Cinnamon and orange for keeping me warm.

So while you were putting the ingredients into your cleansed jar you had one or two candles burning, right? Now when you are ready, use the blue (or the one you chose) to seal down your jar.

But it on your desk or where you are working and or doing something creative. And that is it.

I wish that if you have done this, it'll work for you.

And now a little personal side note, that I would like to start with what was optional to do, because as I believe a spell only works truly for you or with you if you personalize it for yourself so it will be closer to you. So, it was optional to use any orange, the colour of the candle and the quantity of the candles optional as well, as well as putting crystals into your jar. I put two smaller one as my last step.

I sealed my jar and when the wax on top was still soft I placed my blue candle on top of the car and let it melt down. While the candles were burning, after my jar was sort of sealed, I journaled about this, my thoughts, my intentions and I did a little oracle card reading. I felt like something has lifted me and I felt happy. It was powerful and emotionally moving.
