Hi guys welcome back or to my blog, today I would like to continue with my post series; poetry analysis. As my blog starts to turn into a poetry collection rather than anything else. Most of the times poems are analyzed with the fact that the poet is already dead, "so the writer (probably) meant his dying love for xwz when said 'my autumn rose..'" and nobody considers it and nobody considers it that maybe the poet just saw a rose in september and that is all. You know what I mean? Nobody wants to analyze a poem with the poet still living, because they could be embarrassed when the poet corrects them, at least that is my opinion.

Poetry analysis professors, ha!

Anyway.

In this post series, we will analyze three posts, my newest release;

Heavens Hear My Plea..

I cant think about anything

my mind is full of everything

I pop my gum,

will you be my Kim Shin?

to be a gentelmen and hold my heart.

I just wish for a kiss

during the first snow fall.

Flowers blooming in the middle of winter,

"I cant think about anything

my mind is full of everything":

Starting the poem with these lines, shows how empty but still full the poet's mind is, "can't think... mind is full" represents that while your mind is full of thoughts about one thing you can't let other thoughts into your brain, that is impossible at the moment.

"I pop my gum,

will you be my Kim Shin?":

Although bubble gum or gum symbolizes preteens, teens and Lolitas who got Electra Hearts this couldn't be more far fetched from this line in this poem. But if we want to take that angel than "I pop my gum" for you, could be showing how much efforts the woman will do just to get your attention your love. Even charge herself to be a gum popping teen.

Kim Shin is a fictional character in Goblin aka Guardian: The Lonely and Great God which is a Korean drama series made in 2016 (recommended).

"..to be a gentelmen and hold my heart.":

Gentleman hold my heart, means that even in this world and society the poet knows what she wants and even if it takes a thousand years she will wait for her gentleman and until then, no one gets her heart. Standards not pickiness. Saying that only a gentleman can hold my heart also refers to the poet being an old school person, growing up with movies showing Michael Caine, Sean Connery, Roger Moore and most legendary actors on screen draws a standard line between today and 50's-70's young adults.

Heart symbolizes, love, blood, passion and innocence such as being clean. This way all ages can bond with this poem.

"I just wish for a kiss

during the first snow fall.":

Many lines in this poem such as this one is a reference to Goblin aka Guardian: The Lonely and Great God. Also, kiss with the snow fall together shows romance freshness and innocent love. First snow fall symbolizes the beginning of time when the fertile Earth takes her rest and farmers can find time to rest, play and find romance.

Not even mentioning the last verse of the poem, we reached our last verse, where "Flowers blooming in the middle of winter";

The fifth verse also contains a reference to Goblin aka Guardian: The Lonely and Great God.

Also, flowers during winter are extra special because they remind us life always finds a way, lifting our spirits and reminding us that warmer days are on the horizon. Winter flowers can bring quiet joy to those who struggle throughout the darker months or can just add a touch of joy to a home in the darker months.
