Hello beautiful humans🐸
The whole topic of crystals is in itself a huge and complex topic.
These days in one particular generations crystals aren't just a trend but huge helpers, based on this and other researches, also on the fact that my latest post on emotional abuse and healing from it, was a big success,(thank you) I thought this topic (healing with crystals) would be an interesting and helpful topic to discuss. I hope so😉
Lets jump in!
I think as a "starter in crystal-world" you would need only just 5-6 crystals.
That are like pulling your hand onto them with their energies, calling your name and all..
Read about them and figure out what kind of powers/energies/support you need.
for example :
My Crystals
and what are they good for
Quartz : master healer, concentration and memory
Rose quartz: unconditional love
Jasper (autumn leaf): powerful healing
Amethyst: protect, cleansing, inspiration
Dragonstone: unlocks the heart> courage, power
Aventurine: prosperity and confidence
A little bit about crystal healing
Crystal healing uses semiprecious stones and crystals such as quartz, agate, amethyst or opals.
The practice claims that these have healing powers. Practitioners of crystal healing believe they can boost low energy, prevent bad energy, release blocked energy, and transform a body's aura.
In one method, the practitioner places crystals on different parts of the body, often corresponding to chakras; or else the practitioner places crystals around the body in an attempt to construct an energy grid, which is purported to surround the client with healing energy.
But be aware, while the practice is popular, it fosters commercial demand for crystals, which can result in environmental damage and exploitative child labor to mine the crystals! Just be careful about this ;-)

just a few:

How to use crystals & their powers
Some of my thoughts and notes (plus some from the net and books)
Healing crystals can help give you power and clarity.
Many crystals radiate positive energy.
You don't have to know what type of crystal you have in order to use it and enjoy it.
If you have a couple crystals lying around the house but have no idea what they're called or why you bought them, that's perfectly fine; you were drawn to them for a reason.
"Do you remember when you were a little kid and you would go to the beach and pick up pebbles? Innately, we picked up the energy of the earth because it was fun, and so this isn't a religious conversation believe what you want to believe, but our common denominator is the energy of the earth. And many people feel that they need to reconnect with that energy."-from an interview
There are recommendations to: choosing crystals without looking at their names or meanings.
Sometimes if you look up one crystal, there's about 30 different meanings attributed to it, so, say you see a crystal a little tumbled pocket stone that you're very attracted to. Take that stone and stick it in your pocket for 30 days or stick it underneath your pillow. Don't read any information on it. Then, at the end of those 30 days, look up what people say that crystal's about. See if you've felt that energy. If there's a crystal you are somehow really drawn to, it's an energy that you need.
But there are people say that it's just aesthetics, but I've consistently seen people respond to the crystals that they actually need in their lives. Use your intuition to pick which crystals are best for you.
You might just like the way it looks, or how it feels in your hand, thats okay too... Although it's perfectly normal to select a crystal based on aesthetics alone and there are plenty of places to purchase crystals online, if this is your chosen method, its noted that touching and feeling a crystal can help you decide if that energy resonates with you. "Don't just get a crystal because someone else has it, or because you read that it could be helpful. To me, that's taking the power out of your own hands and out of your own experience.”
I hope this was interesting and helpful
