Monarch Butterfly🦋

According to worldwildlife.org monarch butterflies embark on a marvelous migratory phenomenon. They travel between 1,200 and 2,800 miles or more from the northeast United States, and southeast Canada to the mountain forests in central Mexico, where they find the right climate conditions to hibernate from the beginning of November to mid-March. The monarch butterfly is known by scientists as Danaus plexippus, which in Greek literally means "sleepy transformation." The name evokes the species' ability to hibernate and metamorphize. Adult monarch butterflies possess two pairs of brilliant orange-red wings, featuring black veins and white spots along the edges. Males, who possess distinguishing black dots along the veins of their wings, are slightly bigger than females. Each adult butterfly lives only about four to five weeks.

Now you're probably asking why is this little creature is the topic of today's post?

I found a black and orange butterfly in my room, where the window and door was closed all day. My brother was with me, and he saw it too. I had to open my window and lift the butterfly up with a piece of paper to get her/him out. The butterfly took two happy turns around my window and flew away, and I instantly looked up the spiritual meaning to it.

In some cultures, monarch butterflies are viewed as symbols of transformation, renewal, and hope, in others, they are associated with themes of rebirth and regeneration.

According to the Wise Woman and my oracle cards;

The sign of butterfly means that you are ready to transform with wished and hope.

The guidance of the butterfly advises you to take time for profound transformation. You are ready to emerge from your cocoon. Do not rush this, you need a phase of relaxation and calm before you spread your wings. Use this period for a life review to help you decide what you want to change, and remember that the process is inevitable. You will emerge as a different spirit; person. See the world through the eyes of expectation and do everything with new joy and lightness. Stay in harmony and peace.

As I saw the butterfly struggle and then lifted into its freedom, I felt so happy and related , hope, that I can lift myself to freedom as well that what happened to me will not stop me of flying. I see my goal and my plans more clearer and I am not having dark and sad thoughts and feelings anymore.

I liked chasing butterflies as a kid, I enjoyed their color, their movement it looked like to me as they were dancing, I admire them still, but my reasons changed a little bit, now I liked them for their spiritual meaning.

To be honest this post inspired me more than I thought, and I would like to start a series on animals and herbs that are having deeper spiritual meaning in the oracle cards' world. What do you think?
